Deadly American Marriage on Netflix

Anyone watch this? It's about the Molly Martens case a few years back - she and her dad murdered her husband.
Holy shite this chick is a fricking psycho. She is a textbook case of borderline personality disorder in my opinion. All the lies, manipulation, and victimhood.
Anyways, pretty decent show

I think it’s interesting you don’t think the guy was an a-hole, and that the kids were clearly brainwashed by the brother’s family.
All women are crazy, fyi.

I watched it.
For most of the show, I was wondering whether Molly's dad is the same kind of psycho that she is and was in on the plot the whole time, or if he genuinely believed he was protecting his daughter from abuse.
The way he lied about Jason's first father-in-law suspecting him of murdering his first wife pretty much convinced me that the dad was in on Molly's scheme from the beginning.

If the wasn’t in it from the beginning he at least came to help her cover her tracks after the fact

Yea, there’s a thread about it on the appropriate board. With that said, the more granular boards have really hurt the OT overall so here goes:
The chick was obviously someone with mental issues. Her father was the worst tho. He was so monotone and heartless in the 911 call and interviews. Did a former FBI agent really think they’d come out innocent over that much blood and gore and neither aggressor had a scratch on them?
The dead husband didn’t seem like a saint, but FWIW I once dated a crazy chick and it really brings out the worst in you. Feel bad for those kids. They are f’ed for life.

They never say how much younger her Molly was than Jason, but she seems to be at least 10+ years younger. I think her miscarriage with the previous boyfriend screwed her up somehow, and she started looking for kids to fill the void. He was an easy target. A little overweight, nerdy, and much older. A young blonde was going to be pretty tempting. Mollys dad being retired FBI makes me highly skeptical of anything he’s going to say. Her pattern of lying on trivial things is problematic too.

It's possible of course. I'm just going off what the show presented and what I read online about the case, which i googled afterwards. Seems pretty obvious to me that she was manipulating the entire situation from beginning to end and that she is a classic cluster B psycho.

I think her dad was probably completely enveloped in her borderline world to a point that he probably believed alot of her bullshite.
Of course I'm sure his parenting had a lot to do with her ending up crazy as well, so I don't feel sorry for him.
