If you polled LSU students/alumni about their favorite LSU sport? What % breakdown

A reconsideration of funds to other sports will have to happen once the law passes that football players will get a share of up to $20 mil to be split for the whole team. Right now, football funds every other sport besides baseball and men's basketball. Once $20 million of football profit supposedly goes to the players, it will be hard to keep up the other sports at least to the current level. That $20 million to football players will eat up the $50-60 mil in profit it makes that funds other sports.
If you polled a random LSU student/alumni asking what their favorite LSU sport is, what do you think it'd be? My guess is:
Football: 91%
Baseball: 5%
Men's Basketball: 1%
Women's Basketball: 2%
Rest: 1%

Your percentages look accurate. Anyone suggesting less than 90% football knows nothing about percentages

95% football!
4% basketball
1% baseball
The country just gives a sh#t about one sport!

I shall vote in favor of women’s golf!

I’ll bite
LSU alumni here. Favorite sport is football, but baseball is a close, close second. I want more money given to LSU baseball as it is.

A good many people who consider themselves LSU fans are only dimly aware, if at all, that there are other sports.

Reason I don't think that is if you gave 100 random LSU fans the option of 2 things and they could only do 1: watch LSU play in the Nati for football or watch the CWS final with LSU in it, I think 91% will say football and 5% say baseball.

That sounds about right.

I can't wait to see the fireworks when schools start shutting down sports.

As someone who loves all things LSU and has had season tickets to several sports, I have never watched a second of Gymnastics. I know who Livy is but thats about it.

I am one of the few people who would prefer a baseball natty to a football one, but I realize I’m in the vast minority. The percentages would likely be different amongst actual alumni vs non-alumni
Alumni: 84% football, 13% baseball, 3% basketball
Non-alumni: 96% football, 3% baseball, 1% basketball
Alumni: 84% football, 13% baseball, 3% basketball
Non-alumni: 96% football, 3% baseball, 1% basketball

I love LSU baseball but some of these baseball first fans need to get a reality check
The real answer would be something like 95% football with basketball and baseball fighting over the scraps

Don't think it matters. Why wouldn't you want all your sports to succeed and have notoriety? You may not personally care for a particular sport, but the ones who pay to see them do. I would imagine more would pay to see if they were more successful. Look at men's and women's basketball. Before Mulkey was here, it was pretty much dead but you still had your fans. Now you have more at those games than mens which used to have that when Wade was here. That's not considered a favorite sport to some but when LSU is good, it draws eyes from the media around the country.
