QB: Shough/ Rattler/
RB: AK/ Neal/
WR: Olave/ Shaheed/ C Wilson
WR: Cooks/ Means/
TE: Juan J/ Taysom/ Foster M
LT: Fuaga/
LG: Penning/
C: McCoy/ Clapp
RG: Ruiz/
RT: Banks/ Saldiveri
DE: Carl Granderson/ Broughton
DT: Bryan Bresee/ Cam Jordan
NT: Godchaux/ Shepard
DT: Sounders/
DE: Chase Young/
LB: Demario/ Danny Stuts/
LB: Werner/ Sewell/ Ford
CB: Alontae/ Amadi/
CB: Koolaid/ Yiadom
FS: Reid/ Howden
SS: Mathieu/ Sanker/ JT Gray
K:
P: Hayball
LS: Wood
Which leaves (10) open positions and battles:
DE: F Diggs vs Jonah Williams vs Foskey vs Rumph (1)
DT: Ridgeway vs Boyd (1)
CB: Rico Payton vs Q Riley (1)
RB: K Miller vs CEH vs Yarns (1)
QB: Haener vs Dekkers (1)
K: Groupe vs Smythe (1-2)
Gaurd: Radunz vs Landon Young (1-2)
LB: D Jackson vs I Stalbird vs T Powell (1)
WR: K Austin vs Pettis vs Tipton vs DPJ (1)
Is there a group that you think ends up with none of the above on the roster? Who do you choose with those (10) openings?

Ok , looking forward to the season starting, it’s going to be like the good old days.

If he's anywhere near 2022 he's a lock.
Hard to guess till they get to mini camp. Who healed up, who trained hard and who didn't. The Miller's, Foskeys the older vets etc..
The new HC has no ties to hardly anyone on this team. The Reaper will visit many the next 12 months.

CB: Rico Payton vs Q Riley (1)
Not a competition. I think Rico Payton is competing with JT Grey for Special Teams captain.

I just think JT Gray is safe as #5 Safety help and #1 special teams guy.
I can see us keeping guys like Rico, CEH/ Miller, Haener and putting Riley, Yarns, Dekker on the PS.
I can see us keeping both of Radunz/ Young unless Penning/ Saldiveri take a big step.
The real ??? are:
DE: F Diggs vs Jonah Williams vs Foskey vs Rumph (1)
DT: Ridgeway vs Boyd (1)
K: Groupe vs Smythe (1)
LB: D Jackson vs I Stalbird vs T Powell (1)
WR: K Austin vs Pettis vs Tipton vs DPJ (1)

I like Stalbird he is a physical specimen. Just got to find a role for him

I would think this is more between Williams and Foskey, with Diggs being a PS guy this season. I think if Foskey shows anything, he is the guy over Williams. If he continues to look lost, then you move on from him.

Pulling for Foskey to finally get it together. Dude is still young. Hopefully Staley can get him to the next level. If not, what a bust.

Nathan Shepherd and Khalen Saunders SUCK. I hope they both get beaten out and don't make the team. Worst NFL DT tandem I've ever seen.

I don't think its that big of a deal. Godchaux, Broughton, and Boyd are going to take minutes and it's not like we are competing for a championship. Not to mention Cam may get some DT work.
We have a really good young core on defense:
DL: Broughton/ Boyd/ Bresee/
LB: Werner/ Stutsman/ Sewell/ Ford
CB: Taylor/ Kool-Aid
S: Howden/ Sanker
That's a full 11 of starting/ playable young guys
Then you have guys that can contribute for the foreseeable future: Granderson/ Rico/ Amadi/ Yiadom/ Ridgeway
Pretty solid even without our vets.
We are definitely setting ourselves up to focus on offense next offseason/ draft.

Roster's depressing. Mickey needs to visit Rouse's he may find our Kurt Warner, if not, he can always purchase some brown bags for our season opener.

At least 10 of the guys on our 53 would not make the practice squad for many teams. Depressing.

Sad roster, sad front office, sad fans who make excuses for Mickey

Dillon Radunz is going to have a say about LG. Penning will have to beat him out.
Posted on 5/16/25 at 11:17 am to Dantheman504
I like Radnuz. Know nothing about him but clearly his last name will turn into RadNutz and I’m good with it

The pre-training camp predictions are worthless.

What did it cost for this bust???
8- 2nd round draft choices?
