Tracey's Original Irish Channel bar closing after 15 years

Watched many a game at the old location, as well as one at the new location this past season. Jeff is a good dude.

Long run, but damn that place gets sketchy at night, especially old location. The new location building has yet to produce anything worth while. Guess it time for another retail store to move in there.

The new location had about as much charm as an airport bar. I don’t understand how he lost the old location.

Moving was incredibly stupid. As soon as I saw where he was going I knew it was over, just a matter of time.
I know he had issues with the landlord previously but probably a lot his fault if I had to guess

Saw this news on facebook this AM. The commenters have been absolutely brutal. Some serious hatred toward Traceys. Comments about vindictive owners and managers, COVID lockdowns, etc...

Yea she canceled the parade but he stayed open and had his block party. Cops showed up and sent everyone home. This was right when the lockdowns started. Within a day or two irrc.

It’s time.
I loved and went to the original Parasols location for years. Went a few times after they lost the lease at the original location. Took the family there last week and it was horrible. One guy cooking in the kitchen, guy working the register was not competent. Orders were slow and food sucked. Roast Beef poboys were tasteless and barely had any beef and gravy.
