The politicians in Louisiana suck so bad it’s painful.

Tim Temple is a classic southern Democrat with an R next to his name so he can win elections. It was awesome when Donelon whipped his arse in 2019.

Don’t get me wrong he sucks too, but these idiots refuse to go against their trial lawyer buddies.

Disagree bigly. Temple is working hard on tort reform. He’s done an exceptional job so far. Landry and the billboard attorneys are the problem.

Landry hoodwinked the entire business community in the state. He’s a complete fraud. He’s a trial lawyer with an R in front of his name.

Hes a statewide elected official. Who has ONE job. Insurance
Anyone carrying a guy like thats water, is a fig.
Ask yourself why so many of La. Insurance Commissioners have gone to jail, and you can see why the insurance commissioner needs railroading. And there has only been 7 before Teeple

Temple is working hard on tort reform that benefits the insurance companies, rather than Louisianans. As long as insurers are allowed to get away with having a 200% higher profit margin in this State relative to its neighbors, nothing will fix the insurance crisis.
If tort reform works to correct premiums, why didn’t you see premium decreases after the sweeping tort reforms of 2020 and 2024? Because tort reform only works to restrict the rights of the injured; it does ZERO to affect premiums.
At the same time, streamlining the courts to reduce the dollar & time investment necessary to prosecute/defend personal injury claims would reduce the real inefficiencies in the market which are centered around incentivizing protracted and deleterious litigation practices rather than paying fair amounts for valid claims.

Stop insulting trial lawyers like that.

You sound like a trial lawyer lol. Bet my life you're an attorney. Anything to save your money machine. 1000% your premiums are where they are especially in the auto market because of our tort laws.
Temple went after the trial attorneys point blank therefore this is what happens. The governor and all his trail attorney pacs and contributors in unison are going after him period. Every ad taken out against him is done by an attorney PAC. Go look them up when you see any ad and tell me. He stirred the hornets nest and they now out to get him.
These billboard attorneys do not give a shite about their clients so stop acting like this is about protecting peoples rights. Insurnace companies are private business and they come to this state and they get sued for every little damn thing because of the tort laws in this state only and I mean only for the benefit of billboard trial attorneys that are millionaires off the backs of regular people. Wake up. Go look at what all these attorneys that "care so much about their clients rights" are a worth.

These insurance “reforms” protect insurers, not insureds.

What? Morris and Gordon don't enter the courthouse. Their firms prefer to seek a quick settlement.

Never vote for a coon arse in a suit to run the state. He’s a joke. Republicans need better candidates, someone who hates trial attorneys.

This is just pure nonsense. If Louisiana was so fricking profitable we’d have an influx of major national carriers willing to write business in the state which would actually result in prices falling. You PI attorneys really should stop sucking your own dicks from your perceived moral high horses.
While I will not take up for these companies they also don’t deserve 100% of the blame.
Also I’m beginning to think most people don’t truly understand how insurance companies especially the larger carriers actually make money.

And Temple takes money from the Insurance industry.
What is amazing is how fast Temple et al got absolutely check mated after one move.
At some point (I havent seen it in 25 years) the Insurance industry just needs to accept the uncontroverted fact the trail lawyers have way more brain power than the array of half wits they trot out every year to push their agenda. I'm not going to name names because I know most of them, but the "legislators" that push the Insurance agenda are not the best and brightest.

We had those options in the 2023 Gov's race.
But Don Jr. endorsed Landry, so he was MAGA, and we must all fall automatically in line and elect the "MAGA" candidates.
