100% the correct choice. 2 wins guarantees a top 8 seed.

This is a fact? Or are you predicting? And if it is a fact, who is pitching tomorrow?

Also, if it is a fact, they will both be on short rest next week because of this.

My opinion would be to pitch them on Thur and Fri, respectively, and have them on a max pitch count.

Maineri must know about the lefty struggles. Hopefully LSU can get good reps vs left handed pitchers for postseason.

Well, as it turns out, no one cares what you would do.

I like it.

I feel like I'd start Noot on Thursday. Maybe Ware.

So the question becomes does he do the same next week in Hoover? We will play on Thursday, and if he holds Anderson and Eyanson to Fri-Sat again, a loss on Thur ends our SECT. Not that we would necessarily NEED a win in Hoover.

I guess I'm the only one expecting a sweep this weekend. I just don't see South Carolina and CPM competing with us this year.

Think your realistic starting options are Noot, Shores, and Cowan.

I expect cowan or noot and id be fine with either

not necessarily
the 2 and 3 seeds (which is where LSU will most likely finish) don't play until Friday, so they'd be right on schedule.

I think maybe they'll be on a lowish pitch count anyway.

And maybe this tells you how unimportant Jay feels the SEC tournament is for our seeding barring a catastrophic weekend in Columbia.

we likely dont play till friday next week, and if we win this weekend, jay will treat next weekend like an exhibition. So if we bow out in game 1, so be it

Would love to see a Schmidt start. Maybe he grows up and rises to the occasion

Yup, I missed that. I thought all 4 played on Thursday. And there is a higher % chance of us finishing 2 or 3 rather than 1 or 4. I stand corrected.

I wonder if we see Cowan getting his first start?
