As long as they bring back all of the classic Warner Bros. cartoons that they jettisoned after Discovery moved in.

A Warner Bros. platform without One Froggy Evening is a mortal sin.

Good. I won't pretend to understand what all is going on, but here's what I know:

It was always crazy to use "Max" when Cinemax has been a thing.

The app's functionality is complete dogshit.

I always thought it was weird for them to ditch "HBO", which seems to be a much bigger brand name than CineMAX.

Honestly thought that was one of the dumbest name changes in entertainment history....

Actually happy they're going back. I don't think I ever stopped calling it HBO...

Discovery thought it would be a good idea to merge original HBO content with idiotic reality nonsense, considering it's a shared audience.

The amount of rebrands this app has had should be the reason for the CEO to lose his job. How much money is this costing them?

It's funny to see corporate re-orgs play out publicly.

I forgot about HBO Go (used it during the GOT era) and i have no idea wtf HBO Now was.

But yeah, it was a dumb move to ever get rid of the HBO branding considering that HBO as a brand is held in such high esteem. But it was Discovery/Zaslav’s pissing contest to show who was boss post-merger.

Whatever, just bring back Space Ghost Coast to Coast you fricks.

I mean, in the age of streaming, how do you walk away from an absolutely perfect name for a streaming service like Home Box Office?

Would be nice if they carried some of their documentaries that would air late at night.

Possibly, they were very well done imo but its been a couple decades since I watched them and it would be interesting to see how much attitudes have changed.
