I Doubt it’s true. Astros fans aren’t Philly or NYC. And maybe Lance should spend less time worried about social media

Not necessarily an actual fan. Might have been a degenerate gambler who lost money.

That shite is despicable.

I actually find these stories ridiculous. Some internet troll farm or bot says something crazy and the players cry like it is a real threat and then an article shows up... rinse and repeat.

A generation ago I’d have laughed it off if I were him. In the craziness of 2025, I’d take it dead seriously.

Wouldn’t be surprised if you were on target.

It's despicable and fueled by gambling on games where people lose money on the performance of these athletes.

People that do this type of thing are among the biggest losers on the planet.

That’s ridiculous. As if he did it on purpose. He’s been out for 2 years and finally worked his way back to the Bigs. Some people suck.

Have yet to see screenshots of any death threats. You would think in this day and age of social media we would have seen them by now

In a country of 300 million there will be a few that say dumb shite, see the poli board.

It’s just a way for him to scoop up sympathy after an absolutely horrendous performance. He has been doing stuff like this making himself a victim for the past 2 years while he’s been injured. Anyone who knows anything Astros can see right through it.

B. Not so easy when you can’t cheat, huh?

Still salty because he owned your arse.
24 straight curve balls.

No amount of trash can beating can justify your offensive ineptitude.
Deal with it. Like I deal with your old lady.

For those not following tennis, a lot of the time if you search a tennis player's name (whether from the main tour or even, fairly often, the "minor leagues") after he/she has lost a match, the most vile things are said about them.
And they're often targeted with DM's too, like Linda Noskova (who's mother died of cancer) on Mother's Day (LINK ).
This is almost 100% not an Astros fan and it's some moron who lost a bet.

I’m not an Astros fan, I’m a Twins fan, and the matter has been turned over to the Houston Police Department so if McCullars made this up he’s liable to be up s**t creek because cops frown on such things. Which is why I don’t think he made it up.
