What did y’all do without phones when you were on the toilet back in the day?

My phone died overnight. Sat on the toilet this morning and felt so lost and lonely. Maybe I’m addicted, maybe I just can’t sit in my own thoughts.

Whatever is within reach from the toilet. Usually kept some reading material like a magazine nearby but lacking that you grab the Lysol or some other cleaner can from under the sink and read every word.

If I didn’t bring something to read, I would grab whatever was within reach and read it even if it’s the directions on the shampoo.
