As if everyone doesn't know that China is and was behind it. The fact that they never addressed it should tell people it was China. The previous admins totally sold us down the river to China.

It's been speculated/hinted that AF1 is equipped with anti-A2A DEW tech, ostensibly to shoot down incoming missiles.

The article was written not to point out that we have them. It is long been know we did. It isn't even a secret. Now surely some DEW's are available that the general pop. doesn't know about, but we have had this stuff for many many years. You can even find videos of their test uses on youtube.

The purpose of the article is to point out these types of weapons have been used against US citizens on multiple occasions.

Any time a country uses a weapon against us, it is normal to question whether we are in front of or behind technology. You indicate we are in front or equal. It appears though we've not thought they were serious enough or there is nothing we can do if our people are attacked.

Directed Energy Weapons

I HATE this term because it is so general and because it is general our IC can use it to gaslight people.

After all, a bullet fired from a gun is a directed energy weapon.

But I suspect Catherine Herridge is talking about the DEW that causes Havana syndrome.

It is hypothesized people that contract Havana syndrome form DEWs involves a frequency between 200 MHz to 50 GHz. The frequency is really not the issue. The issue is the amplitude of the wave. Producing a damaging electromagnetic wave in this frequency range requires 50 MW to 100 GW of power. That is a lot. The 5 GHz from our cell towers (which is a frequency in this range) has a max power of only 100 watts.

Just the cheap laser lights. Unfortunately, we don't fund our defense department enough to be able to keep up with countries like China or Russia.

GAO classifies it as those that use electromagnetic energy GAO

Yes. Range has been considered an issue. The drone disruption weapons remind me of toppling from Dr No

That's fine but the general term "energy" still bothers me as a descriptor for these weapons. DEW should stand for directed electromagnetic weapons. I hate ambiguity because our intelligence community and media uses ambiguity to gaslight us.

For example I remember when one of the House committee members was questioning a UAP expert:

Congresswoman: "did you find any evidence of life at the UAP crash site?"

UAP expert: "yes, biologics were found."

Then no follow up.

Then the conspiracy theorists reach and say, "this proves aliens from other planets exists".

We had a group of diplomats in Cuba who were victims of this like 5 years ago.

It’s that old.

I am not limited in thought enough to believe that directed sound is where it ends, however.

Herridge is one of only like 3 people I consider truly intellectually honest at reporting.
