Weird, I got a random thing in my Facebook feed yesterday from her (official?) account that read
quote:
This is Ruth Buzzi‘s husband writing on her page. She asked me to thank all of you for being so good to her for so many years. She wants you to know she probably had more fun doing those shows than you had watching them. Because of health issues, she’s must withdraw from writing, but she will still be reading and enjoying your posts.
If you've met Ruthie and had a picture taken with her, please post it below. If you have a great memory from her career that you enjoyed — a special comedy sketch, or a moment that made you laugh — share that with us.
Ruthie loves you.

I thought she was in her 20's, like most of the other girls, and they just made her up for Laugh-In, but she was already 31 when the show started. Goldie Hawn was only 21 when she started the show in 1968.
Buzzi was only a year younger than my mom, who watches Fox News all day now, and voted for Barry Goldwater and Nixon in the 60's. I doubt she watched Laugh-In more than once. Both of my parents were super conservative. They hated to 60's culture that I kind of embraced. My dad subscribed to some super conservative publications. The kind that warned us about globalist way back then. Wish I still had some of those to read.
My dad wasn't in the Klan, but he and my mom's brother-in-law were invited to join when they worked at the IP mill in Natchez.

Reading the notice makes me want to part my hair down the middle, grab a cheap purse, sit on a park bench and use my purse to hit Arte or the first man who sits down

Thought she died like 5 years ago....
Oh, wait.
Wrong Ruth
Guess not everyone remembers Limbaugh referring to RBG as Ruth Buzzi Ginsburg.
