Maybe I’m not seeing it, but we seem to be adding mid major players who were decent contributors ….but not ones who were first team all conference or All American types.

I’m not believing the talent will be that different. Hope I’m wrong.

We’ll see. There are some nice pieces like Thomas. Wish we could have added another shooter. As is i think we will still have spacing issues. But i hope im wrong.

No. This program will not improve until MM is gone. He is not the right fit for the NIL era.

Hardly, all teams are shifting players in and out.

I hope so. I’m pulling for Matt to turn things around.

No. He’s not a good coach and his talent brought in is not significantly better than last years or the years before. They have no depth.

It’s simply another wasted year by Woody just trying to by a bunch of mid-level players. They may be a little better than this season, but will still be bottom 4 in the SEC.

Please explain. What is MM doing this off-season that gives you reason to believe he will turn things around?

MM has proved that he is not great at putting together a competitive in 1 year.

He thrives in a developmental environment, unfortunately the new era of college basketball does not allow time for developing players.

The 2022 transfer class was ranked 11th also. When combined with the HS signing class, the OVERAL ranking was 17th...the result: 14-19(2-16)

I wouldn't start handing out superlatives like it being his "best team" just yet.

So far the roster looks to have a solid PG; a few mid-major wings with experience and potential, but clear holes in their games (notably shooting). There is frontcourt depth, but not exactly explosive athletes. Rob Miller has the most potential with high major traits (good length and a growing ablity to play inside/and out). Nwoko has major conf. athleticism, but his limited in skill. Reed is coming off a major knee injury.

It looks like the roster has guys who can get to the rim. Defense is concerning because there isn't much rim protection unless Miller takes a big step. Nwoko is the only guy there. The shooting looks VERY concerning overall.

Just like all of McMahon's previous rosters, there is probably a path/approach to success. Can McMahon find it is the $10M question

If we go another season without going to the dance, it would be ridiculous to keep McMahon. He should have been let go after last season.
