I work closely with Canadians. They are perceptibly stupider than Americans, especially the French-speakers, and they really don't have much of a national identity beyond "we're not the USA."

I would take Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Although I would take everything from Kelowna east to Alberta too since it is still a conservative hotbed.

I have recently been a part of two professional development events with Canadians. They have all been raging liberals and very condescending and insulting to the United States. Apparently the irony of them having to travel to the " uneducated backwards screwed up" USA for professional development was lost on them. This past week one was a Canadian trained doctor who now teaches at a medical school in the United States. He gave up his practice and moved to the United States so he could make more money teaching medicine than he made as a doctor in Canada's health care system. They were all just like the typical liberal here in the USA...misinformed, ignorant, and self-absorbed.
