Prey was better then what i anticipated. Not sure about this one. Not opposed to a different storyline.

i'd argue that they've had a version of Predator as a protagonist in AvP, Predators, and the Predator. They'd still kill a human if needed, but there's a dynamic of the smaller predators not being total a-holes.

I like Predators a lot. But let’s not overlook Predator 2. Predator 2 is much much better than people give it credit for. It has soooo much character. Look at Bill Paxton’s character alone would be enough to make most movies.

The Predator - hellabad
Prey - Good, better than expected
While it doesn't compete with the first 2 in the franchise, it definitely has a better overall track record than The Terminator series (and the same could probably be said of the Alien franchise too) - in that there are more "good/fun" movies than crappy ones.

Prey was really solid and a fresh take for the series this looks to be the same so I'm excited. Apparently there's a Weyland synthetic in the teaser too just have missed it would help lean towards the rumours that we're getting a proper crossover with Alien

Either way, this looks like more girl boss shite, and this is not exactly a healthy franchise. The first movie is a masterpiece and everything else is mid at best.

Elle Fanning is the synthetic. You can see her eyes go white near the beginning after the predator lays out his weapons.
