IF Brees was so good, the Chargers would still have him.
IF Favre was so good, the Falcons would still have him.
IF Young was so good, the Buccaneers would still have him.
IF Stafford was so good, the Lions would still have him.
IF P. Manning was so good, the Colts would still have him.
IF Gannon was so good, the Vikings would still have him.
IF Werner was so good, the Packers would still have him.

I swear, the closer we get to the draft the worse these threads get.

Only one of this is a decent example and that Stafford because he was also on a career losing team.

The difference is, Stafford is not a world class douche.

The others were young, old or injured not in their prime.

Except the point is teams have many different reasons for cutting bait other than not being good.

Carr just happened to be very mediocre so it was an easier choice.

Carr is not even mediocre; she is a serial killer of coaches, and backstabber of teammates and fans.

I've seen every snap she's played in the NFL as I follow the Raiders, she is dogcrap.

The Carr situation isn’t really comparable to any

Carr had a large sample size to determine he’s mediocre at best. It was a dumb fricking signing then and has only gotten worse since.

The OP’s point is dumb but your rebuttal isn’t any better

I have a friend in the Army who grew up in a LA and is a diehard Raiders fan and I was happy about acquiring Carr and he said wait give it time. He was right. I thought with him we'd be a competitive playoff team and that just isn't the case.

Not sure if the alters are coming out or not…..but Carr wasn’t the coach killer with the Raiders so just stop. 100% not defending Carr but let’s not act like they were the Steelers before he got there, 6 coaches in 11 seasons before he got there screams coaching stability.

Please.. You could say the same thing about Brees... Yeah he was injured but he certainly seemed to recover well the very next year....
