I guess it is true what they said about him being Les.
2-16 in the conference and facing a sweep by Aggie and then will help LSU reach 20 wins when their asses getting swept at the end of the season.

I find it sad. He's been a great ambassador for LSU, but you'd swear he was as successful as McMahon.

He wasted a lot of talent, refused to adapt to a changing game, let the program drop, left because of an "injury", hung out around the team and program as "coach emeritus" while plotting a move to return to coaching in the conference and was kind of an a-hole the entire time he was here. It's not totally unwarranted.

And this is why I have not liked Paul since season #1 at LSU. He may have changed later in his career here, but he absolutely thought he was bigger when he arrived.

There are no people like this, this a strawman just created by people who just gratuitously bash coaches for not winning the title every year against people the would defend those coaches record or simply suggesting they should not have been fired earlier.
