nah thats stupid, thats half the country when you include crimea. Why do we need to get involved in ending it? Though the idea was to stay out of it

Well, Trump campaigned on ending it in 24 hours. So, there's that.

That's a Surrender Monkey move. Right now Ukraine has the city of Kherson. That's frickery to give the Russians something they at least did not earn. No way you give those fricks the West Bank of the Dneister River. ....any of it

All those areas … guess what language they speak? …Russian , not Ukrainian . Most of those people would rather Russian control , which is why Ukraine has been fricking with them for years

The Trump administration is working as mediator here. We want that because we don't want a world war over Ukraine.

seriously ? Do you not know what this war is about from the Russian perspective ? Or do you just follow the Victoria Nuland , Dick Cheney “ expand NATO right to the Russian doorstep propaganda .

You can watch , Professor Jeffery Sachs on YouTube about an hour long speech on the whole mess , going back all the way to the Brit’s wanting to limit Russian access to the Black Sea as far back as 1853 .

If that is too much for you … just google Russian language in Ukraine
34 percent of the country speaks Russian the vast majority are in Crimea , the Donbas , and the other areas listed.
And no I am not posting it , if you’re too lazy to look it up to find out the truth instead of sucking up to that bitch Victoria Nuland I can’t help you .

Speaking the language doesn’t give Russia the right to exercise control. Otherwise the USA would have to go back to being a British colony. And parts of the American southeast would belong to Mexico… or Spain, however you want to divide it.

I mean this was always gonna be part of the deal. Do you even want those areas back anyway? They are minefields and full of Russian imported citizens.

Trump administration officials are increasingly at odds over how to break the deadlock between Ukraine and Russia, with Witkoff and Kellogg - who favors more direct support for Ukraine - disagreeing on the best course forward, according to the U.S. officials and people familiar with the matter and four Western diplomats who are in touch with administration officials.

Shocking that Kellogg wants to continue the War when his Daughter directly benefits from that outcome

I'm not surprised...

So, some or all of the following oblasts seem to be on the block:
Crimea
Kherson
Zaporizhzhia
Donetsk
Luhansk

I would assume it's Zelenky's goal not to give up all of each oblast, but only those areas that 1.) Allow Russia to maintain the port in Sevastopol. 2.) allow for a dependable water supply for Crimea. 3.) Allow for unencumbered access for Russia to Crimea. 4.) Protect the ethnic Russians in Donetsk and Luhansk.

Putin's negotiating points are for the above, plus Zelensky to step down, Ukraine to join the EEAU, and to prohibit NATO troops in Ukraine.

While I suspect Putin will get most of what he wants, perhaps he will make the concession of giving up some occupied territory insofar as it doesn't jeopardize water and access to Crimea, and the safety of ethnic Russians.

I'm pretty sure Crimea, Crimean water and access, safety of ethic Russians, Zelensky stepping down and Ukrainian membership in the EEAU are all non-negotiable for Putin. The only thing he's probably willing to discuss are exactly where the lines will be drawn. And at that point Zelensky will just be negotiating for acreage.

"Forward!" he cried from the rear
And the front rank died
The general sat and the lines on the map
Moved from side to side

Like I said to unilaterally give them Kherson would be the biggest chump move in history. You want to to be a pussy, you go ahead. But you do not give fricks like Putin anything he doesn't earn.....and he did not earn that which he does not have

Russia doesn’t control all of Zaporizhia or Kherson.
