This is spousal abuse and child abuse by this horrible man.

BTW, this whole post is dripping with sarcasm. I’d be fine if he smacked her for doing this.

Good on the dad for putting his foot down and stopping the wife’s foolishness. We need more of this.

Hell no.

He probably wants to eat boogers but you're not letting him do that are you? Sometimes you have to be a parent. Not a bestie.

I have probably 3-4 pink shirts I wear often enough. It’s a good color on me and my GF really likes it.

I’m past giving a shite if someone has an issue with it but I agree with this dad (assuming this isn’t staged) a 4 year old boy carrying that back pack will get picked on.

Mom is hot. When the dad says to get him a "football" bag, he's really talking soccer, so it's still gay.

The kid is 4 y.o. Why does he need a backpack? Why is he going to school? Give him breakfast and kick him out of the house and say: 'Go play. When it gets dark, come home.'

Dumbass woman. She should just put one of those pussy hats on her kid and send him to school.

This is fake.

But the father is correct. He would have gotten bullied.

Don't set your child up for failure.

Unlikely at 4 years old. Their minds are still pure and innocent for the most part. Not enough time to learn about intolerance and bigotry, but give it 2-3 years.

I wore hot pink thru the 80s. You were gay if you didn't.

You people thinking that telling a boy the a pink backpack is for girls is "intolerance and bigotry" are the worst, and needed to get bullied more.

A pink shirt for an adult male isn't the same.

A pink bag with girls in dresses on it is not appropriate for a boy. This is not complicated.

Beyond the likelihood that this is contrived, the father is right.

However:

(1) If he would have raised his son correctly, this conversation would not have been necessary.

(2) If he would run his household correctly, this conversation would not have been necessary.

And yes, I bet they’re real and I bet they’re spectacular.
