Anyone have any experience with the budget lines of adjustable dumbbells willing to share their experience? Trying to find a pair that can each get up to 50 lbs for under $250. So that eliminates the quality brands like Bowflex, power blocks, and nuobell.

Garage Gym Review channel on YouTube has reviews on almost every adjustable dumbbell on the market.

Better off buying a quality pair. If only going to 50 look at rep
Slot of times powerblocks are on sale on woot and lot of guys on here got good deals on then on there

I have those cheap adjustable DBs with change plates.
Not that big of a hassle.
I have a set of 35s, 50s and a single 70, too.

Yeah, they are very long and weirdly shaped for some exercises.
I have a set but am looking to upgrade to something as the 52.5 lb limit is capping some of my lifts.
I'm looking at the powerblocks with expansion up to 100

Check Facebook Marketplace. Right now is the time the New Year's Resolutioners have decided that "New Year, New Me" is over with, and start selling off the equipment they bought.
We have two sets of Bowflex adjustable dumbbells. One set goes up to 52.5 lbs and are comfortable. The other one goes up to 90lbs and hurt my hands so much on presses that I wish I was somewhere else.

Thanks for all the replies/suggestions guys. Don't have FB, but I'll ask someone with a FB to have a look for me.

I bought a pair of FitRX and they are great. They go up to 52.5 pounds each. One thing I wish I had bought was the set that went up to the 80 pounds or so. I'm already at the max weight for benching and other exercises, and wish I went heavier.

people are going to tout the expensive ones but i have a pair of CAP ones from academy. they were less than $200 total (i think it was a sale) for 2ea. 5#-55#. only regret is i didn't get the ones that went up to 75#.
i've used them almost daily for 4 months and have zero complaints. i also don't throw them around like an animal.
