drug is called Lepidisiran, and it entered phase 3 of drug trials on March 31

From the Wiki:

quote:

Lepodisiran (LY3819469) is a small interfering RNA that was developed to reduce lipoprotein(a) in people at risk of cardiovascular disease. It was developed by Eli Lilly and Company.

As of March 31 of 2025, company trials in phase 2 of randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study resulted in significant reduction by the lepodisiran levels of genetically inherited cardiovascular risk factor such as heart attacks, strokes, thrombosis, nearly 94% from baseline.

This could be a monumental gamechanger, Wonder what the side effects down the road will be?

Remind us, who were the “tards” when in came to Covid and the so-called vaccine?

There are no pharmaceutical "shortcuts" to good health. BigPharma is not in the business of making you healthier. They are in the business of keeping you sick and keeping you as a customer.

And the side effects will be terrible.

It never gonna work that simple.

There will always be side effects.

You have to clean up your diet and move more. There is no magic trick to it. Stop eating so much processed foods and sugar.

Without exercise, your body starts to deteriorate as you age because you stop moving

Wow! Are you in Mensa?

Kidding, all drugs have side effects (free radicals).
Aspirin is considered a miracle drug because it does a lot of things well for most people, with minimal side effects.

Lifestyle changes are important as you mentioned, but for some those changes aren't enough, and they need pharmaceutical help.

I would strongly encourage anyone that is that concerned about side effects, and that is so fearful, to immediately throw all their OTC and prescription medications in the garbage.

Do it now, quickly!

Same thing happened with Repatha. Investors got a huge boner, but the decrease in cardiac events were not linear. They were able to get cholesterol into single digits, but just mild reduction in events,

For those already with CAD a reduction of events 11.3% compared to placebo of 9.8% so 1.5 ARR and 15% RRR which is enough for a pharma co. to sink 2-3 billion!!! into.

NNT is that you have to treat 147 people for 1 years to stop one event. There were no decrease in cardiac deaths, which could take more than the two years that the patients were followed.

One percent risk reduction can be argued is a very successful drug because if you take 10 of them, you now have reduced your risk by 10% lol

If we extrapolate this data,If all of the 12.5 million people Who have heart disease in the country take Repath for 20 years, you could reduce 1.3 million heart attacks.
