Texas high school football star Austin Metcalf stabbed in the heart, left to die

Stellar student and athlete, white. Stabbed by black perp who brought knife to track meet.

Where is the outrage? Where are the calls for hate crime charges?!?!
Anthony, a senior at Centennial High School, was allegedly told he was sitting in the wrong seat before he drew a knife and launched his attack, Metcalf’s father, Jeff Metcalf, told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth.
Anthony, 17, allegedly stabbed Metcalf in the chest as his victim’s brother, Hunter, watched in horror.
Austin Metcalf was remembered as a star linebacker who had garnered attention from schools as he dreamed of playing football in college.
He was recently voted his team’s Most Valuable Player and held a 4.0 GPA, according to a GoFundMe organized by his father.
“He was a bright young man with a great future ahead of him,” Jeff Metcalf said. “He was a leader of men. His smile would light up the room. His passion for football was unbelievable.

Because his Father is on every newscast saying this isn't about race. It's " tragic " for the perp, as well as his son. Sounds like someone with his head up his arse.

The perp was in an area that was for I think Frisco HS, and was talking shite, was asked to go back to his designated area, and just attacked this guy. The whole thing is f'ed up 50 ways from Sunday. The Father's comments fit right into that narrative.

They will still make a movie, last year, Ethan Liming, a 17 year old white boy was beaten to death by 2 black teens outside of LeBron James school for shooting a water pistol. The 2 defendants got an 18 month sentence and I think it's A&E making a movie about them

I live in Frisco. My son is a senior and has gone to school in FISD since kindergarten. I was on the PTA board for over a decade. I’m extremely involved in our community. I know this community and our schools as well or better than almost anyone.
This was over a broken phone. Race isn’t an issue. We are a tight community with less than 5 murders a year and this event has rocked us all. We don’t need outsiders manufacturing outrage by injecting race into a situation that is tragic enough already. There is little to no economic disparity between races in our town. The initial incident had absolutely nothing to do with race.
Seniors came home with their cap & gowns today. It’s been bittersweet and I’ve cried more than once. Our community doesn’t need the added stress of inaccurate rumors and conjecture.

The prevailing story is the victim broke the stabbers phone a couple days ago. Tensions at the track meet rose, victim punched the stabber, fight was broken up pretty quickly but not before a kid was stabbed.

When a community has 1.31 murders per 100,000 residents annually, there aren’t enough incidents to even create statistics. Frisco has a black population of 8%. Median household income is $146,158. We have rich kid issues like suicide and petty property crime. We don’t have violent crime. And the crime we do have isn’t perpetrated by any particular race.

Well, he’s been charged with 1st degree and will be tried in Collin County which will show no mercy for a murder on school property. The only issue I have with premeditation is that the victim allegedly threw the 1st punch.
