Probably because she isn’t part of a segment of society with an inferiority complex.

That’s what my sister’s friend’s nephew’s cousin said too.

Supposedlykids said earlier in the day that he wanted to stab someone.

Has that been corroborated?

It was first said that the kid posted this on social media. When no screen shots were passed around, the rumor changed to he said it. This is one of the rumors that I hear people saying is true and not true so I tend to not believe it until there is more evidence.

Even if it’s true, race wasn’t the underlying fracture here.

I think you’re posting about what you experience in your life. You should know it’s not the same everywhere. My biggest issue with Frisco, TX is that it’s a ridiculously insulated bubble from the real world.

Imagine the thermonuclear meltdown if Trump said "if I had another grandson"....

Prayers to the family of the kid, and that the animal who took his life faces real justice.

Kind of wish we were talking about shite on our streets today instead of this.

To be fair, I am now because when I responded to the OP, someone with the username "Kracker" got offended and they deleted my 3 or 4 post

Gotchya, yeah that seems a little too convenient to be true.

The questions will and should be did he make any statements to indicate he feared for his own safety or thought he needed a weapon for defense. If so that makes his case for bringing it much more reasonable.

If not, well then, the reasonable assumption would be that he definitely planned to do something with it.

I’m sorry this happened. I have a 17 yo son so I can sort of imagine the devastation this has caused in the community.

Another future productive member of society murdered by a useless piece of shite that was never going to amount more than a drain on taxpayer resources

So isolated that a kid showed up at a school track meet with a weapon? Nah, you may think your bubble is different but in reality it’s not. If it was, there would have been a fight, a couple suspensions, and everyone goes home

The only issue I have with premeditation is that the victim allegedly threw the 1st punch.

He brought a knife to a track meet, then used it. I think that warrants premeditation

Admit it…. You flicked your bean over the thought of a white kid being stabbed to death. Totally acceptable and encouraged by you and your people.

Ok. Here’s the context if prevailing, consistent stories are true. I’m not including things that are still questionable like the social media post, only things that have been said by all studenst and parents I’ve spoken to. I should add that my son knew Austin and his friends.

Austin broke Karmelo‘s phone a couple days ago. I don’t know much about the events surrounding this so we don’t know how it happened.

Karmelo and Austin were both competing in the track meet for different schools. Austin was sitting in a tent put up for his HS’s track members while Karmelo’s school had a text set up for their athletes nearby.

Karmelo came to sit under Austin’s school tent and there was a few minutes of rising tension. Austin grabbed Karmelo’s bag and threw it out of their tent towards Karmelo’s school tent.

This led to a fight where Austin threw the first punch. They were surrounded by coaches, athletes and school officials and the fight would have been broken up almost immediately. However, Karmelo pulled out a knife and stabbed Austin. He brought a knife onto school property during a sanctioned school event.

When I say that race didn’t contribute to this crime, I mean that Karmelo likely would have stabbed Austin under these exact same circumstances no matter what his race was. This was a situation that was brewing over a couple days.

Everything I’ve posted is alleged and comes from the perspective of 16-18 year olds. My heart breaks for two families in my community today.

Frisco has a higher population than Baton Rouge and averages 2 murders a year. The fact is, it’s not the same.

Ok, so he brings a knife and then antagonizes the victim by sitting in his tent.

Clearly this is the behavior of an aggressor and not a victim defending himself.
