I wish JW5 was the prequel, showing his training and how he got started and killing the people with the pencil. Him meeting his wife and hanging it up and then she dies leading up to JW1

As a huge John Wick fan, 4 was enough. It peaked at 3

I kind of feel the same way. I was late to the John Wick party so all 4 had been released when I started. Absolutely loved the first one, but having the benefit of hindsight I still thought "how in the world did they make 4 of these?" I still binged all 3 and certainly enjoyed all of them. But by the end I was thinking to myself... armored jacket or not he's been run over by a car like 4 times over a ~24 hour span. Dude should be wrecked.

Still a great series.

The hotel prequel on Peacock was also okay-to-solid.

Yeah I watched the first 2 right before the 3rd one came out and thought they were bad arse. Went and saw 3 at the theatre on opening night and was blown away, thought it was one of the best action movies ever. Was SUPER pumped for 4 and saw it in theatre as well, and while I enjoyed it it was kinda like ok this has ran its course. Not saying I wouldn’t still go see 5, though

Normally I would agree with you but the state of movies is so bad that John Wick 5 could be the movie of the year.

I watched them all but struggled after the last half hour of #2 when they made it seem like 90% of the world's population were all apart of the secret assassin's guild.

I thought 3 was the weakest, but it could be my unjustified hatred of that guy from Iron Chef America. Easily the worst actor in the franchise, including Common.

4 dragged but that overhead shotgun scene is my favorite of the series. Lose the traffic circle and one fall down the stairs and it’s perfect.

I’m excited about the Caine spinoff. I would have been fine with him continuing the main movies in place of Keanu.

The Halle Barry scene with the dogs, and the knife throwing scene were the 2 most bad arse parts of the series IMO, outside of the fight with the 2 Filipinos in 1. Also loved the end of 3 with Keanu and the Concierge teaming up with the shotguns

I laugh out loud when the knife fight seems to be over until Wick throws an axe into a guys head from 30 feet away.

frick yeah!

If I watched it in a theater people would probably think I am a psychopath.

Most overrated series of movies ever made. Should’ve stopped at one.

The overhead shots in the shootout scene in 4 was pretty fricking cool.

I like Donnie Yen but him fighting all those people blind really stretches it. I don't know about a whole movie like that.
