Moving through the House and Senate? They have majority in both. What are they waiting for?

They are waiting for the next election when they lose the majority to become controlled opposition. That’s their comfort zone.

Great question. Same thing happened in 2016. Had a Republican majority and Paul Ryan wasted it.

Because they are worthless bastards that are lazier than their Democratic counterparts by a long-shot.

They’ve said it will take months to compile the massive tax cuts/spending cuts spending bill that Trump wants.

Mostly because one massive omnibus bill will have to have several BS things added or removed to appease enough to get it passed

Exactly this.

Trump's not going to get help from Congress, and we know how much the Judicial Branch is trying to stop his agenda.

Trump and his pundits have said multiple times that the only thing they are working on is the “big beautiful bill” - once that passes then they will start knocking out the EOs back to back to back to back on a daily basis but they must to get this “Big beautiful bill” written and passed before they can really do anything else

That’s why. Everything is still going to plan

Are they just sitting back and watching the executive orders and tariff situation play out?

For the people bitching about Trump issuing EOs on things that should be Congressional legislation, Republicans in Congress should be submitting a bill on every EO Trump issues, and force all of Congress to go on record either for or against.

What’s stopping them? Shouldn’t they be the real source of your ire?

Republicans suck. They are terrible and can never get their shite together as a team to get things done.

I loathe democrats, but they know how to play the game. Republicans are playing Tball while the dems are playing major league.

I am thoroughly convinced Republicans ARE doing exactly as they please, and are, in fact, playing the game of their choosing.

You're right. They suck.

They never seem to do anything significant when they are in control. I don’t get it.

I don't agree with this. It doesn't take the entire congress to work on one bill. The lower level members could be knocking some of these things out. Just put forth simple one-topic bills.

I get waiting for DOGE to pass a budget bill, but I don't see a reason to delay non-budget items, like handling activist judges or election integrity.
