I'd imagine some craftsman 100+ years ago poured his heart and soul into what was probably some beautiful wood work in that staircase and trim and moldings, then some a-hole came along and painted it all pink.

Damn, that little girl must be beyond spoiled for her parents to give her a full size real doll house. Dad really loves her. Wonder where they kept the ponies.

Having removed paint from woodwork in the past, this was my first thought as well.
Looks like the location is kind of shitty as well with a parking lot right next door and a smallish lot.
Having never watched the Barbie movie, is there a reason some parts of the house are not pink? Are those supposed to be Ken's areas or they just didn't want to have to wear sunglasses inside?

The Google Street View shows a "Before" pic when the house was painted a slate gray with white trim. Should have left it that color.
The large parking lot next to it is for the Croix View Apartment Complex, so lots of coming and going daily.
Like already mentioned, the above ground pool had me laughing.
When looking at all the pics that highlight the hideous indoors all I could think was "These people have all their taste in their mouths" because they sure don't have it in decorative style.
