Interesting

An overwhelming majority of Christians reject the basic Christian teaching of the Trinity, prompting new concerns that Americans are living without the influence of “the truths and life principles of God.”
The Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University released the latest installment of its American Worldview Inventory series which documents Americans’ views on the Trinity. The research is based on responses collected from 2,100 adults in January.
Overall, just 40% of respondents believe that God exists and affects people’s lives. That figure rises to 53% among self-identified Christians, 60% among theologically-identified born-again Christians, and 100% among Integrated Disciples. The latter term refers to those who have a biblical worldview. While a majority of those surveyed (59%) believe in the existence of Jesus Christ, a significantly smaller share of adults (29%) believe in the Holy Spirit.
Slightly more than 1 in 10 respondents (11%) believe in the Trinity, that the God of the Bible is “three distinct but inseparable and equal persons in one infinite Being.” The persons in the Trinity are God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
Belief in the Trinity, characterized by the Cultural Research Center as a “fundamental tenet of Christianity,” increases to 16% among self-identified Christians, 24% among theologically-identified born-again Christians and 62% among Integrated Disciples.

Exactly. Religion was invented to placate the masses.

This is a stupid article. 100% of Christians believe in the Trinity. If one does not believe in the Trinity, then one is simply not a Christian.

It's always amazing to me that many "Christians" are so skeptical of everything now days, but will willingly believe some dude 2000 years ago in the eternal shite hole that is the middle east walked on water, turned water into wine, helped heal people by touching them, etc etc.
Not to mention modern day conservative Christians have completely bastardized everything he stood for. Just look at all the hate coming from so called Christians now days. If Christ was real and lived in current times, he would be labeled a piece of shite socialist cuck by the same people who claim to follow him and practice the religion named after him.

No... 100% of Christians believe in the doctrine of the Trinity.
The 84% that they are referring to are not Christians.

You might not be able to claim any of the major denominations, but not a Christian? There are a host of historical Catholic heresies that would firmly disagree with you.

Doesn’t seem unreasonable for people to question how the father is the son and a ghost.

You're spot on.
And, why are non-believers so ill-tempered and sour?
I mean, I don't know a single Christian that speaks harshly about any non-believer. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Correct. John 16 & 17. Jesus was clearly speaking of the Trinity. Also eternal past Jesus and future Jesus. Always was the Trinity. A “Christian” who doesnt believe in the Trinity rejects John 16 & 17, therefore rejects Jesus Christ as well, and as you said, are not Christians
