Pool skimmer waste

For those of you that can’t dispose over the fence or inside of your fence, how are you guys managing pool skimmer waste? Is there a certain kind of bin that you can keep out by the pool?
With all of the pollen dropping I hate to just dump it back into my garden so It doesn’t end up back in the pool

I walk out the gate and dump straight into the garbage bin ~50 steps away. I give it a few knocks and bangs, and maybe couple leaves remain.

Long ago, in a land far, far away, a receptacle was invented and was named a “garbage can”. I keep mine near my pool that I line with those large contractor garbage barges from Home Depot. It’s one of those heavy duty Rubbermaid “Brute” types with a lid, cost $31 at Home Depot.

every household is different, but when the garbage gets almost full in my kitchen, i take the bag to the pool, dump skimmers, pickup dog crap, tie up and trash can it most of the time.

I fertilize the grass with it. Yep, I just throw it in the grass

Suck it. Never had a pool before. I happen to get one with a huge live oak next door.

Like there's some overpriced special receptacle you can buy for pool skimmer debris.

Figured some pool nerd might have a wire basket or something to let the trash dry out.

I just throw it in the bushes

I keep one of these near my pool. Sometimes the skimmer waste goes here, sometimes I just fling the leaves and crap into the yard. This one works well with the lid so rain doesn't get in, and anything that might smell is pretty well sealed up.
(Suncast is the trash can brand)

I keep a 5 gallon bucket near the skimmer and fill it up and dump in the trash can when necessary.

yep i have a designated 5-gallon bucket but i drilled some holes out on the bottom to drain water. let the debris dry out some then put in trash bin

It's just plant waste and some bugs. Throw it in a flower bed or in your lawn and mow right over it. It will naturally break down. I have a chlorine pool, and this method doesn't seem to hurt anything.

The left skimmer gets beat against a laurel magnolia and the stuff falls into the mulch around it, the other is different, it gets beat against a cypress tree nearby and let the crap fall into the mulch below. So far, so good.

I’ll check with my wife and see what she does with it
