Will they ever upgrade the bleachers at the Box?

Maybe another natty can bring them to ditch the bleachers and just add individual seats.

Only the bleachers?

There will be a major renovation in the next 3-5 years.
As long as Jay keeps winning.

No we need to dump The left field bleachers and make that a open area like ole miss. Right field is limited w/ space I'd like to go vertical across the batters eye with suites or a nice porch area

But, the old box mistique!

It is unfathomable that they haven't made the box 100% chairs.
Simply for the aesthetics. But it would increase the fan experience, because those bleachers with the backs they have down the lines are the most uncomfortable bleachers I've ever sat in. Something about the angle of them murders my back every time.

The fans voted for metal bleachers! They were just keeping their fans happy

I long for the day where I can go to an LSU baseball or football game and not have to worry about overfed Louisiana fats spilling into my bleacher seat no matter where I sit in the stadium.

Im sitting in chair backs behind home plate in San Marcos about to watch a Tx State game. The box is a larger version of this place with bleachers down the lines and real grass.

Was frustrating seeing UT students chilling in the outfield with comfy folding chairs and ice chests of beer/drinks…make the student section a fun and chill place to watch baseball with friends

quote:for any college field yes it’s fine, but when you’re supposed to be the premier baseball program in the country it’s tacky as hell, absolutely no reason the whole stadium shouldn’t be chair back. The outfield bleachers being different sizes is laughable, go to South Carolina, Arkansas & the dude in Starkville and you’ll realize how cheap looking the box is compared to those.

Im dreading sitting on a metal bench this evening. I’d also like a place with a food and bar area even if it has limited field visibility. Maybe in the left field corner shaped like a triangle. Sit at a bar and watch the game on cctv.

Have you been to Ole Miss?
Their field is cut into a hill to form a natural ampatheater. We have flat ground. Whatever they do has to be built to rise above the OF walls.

Bleacher seats don’t pay TAF seating fees. Grandstand seating fees start at $250 per ticket per year. Mine are $350. Upgrades will come at a cost to fans as well. Many will bitch either way.

Best I can do is a shite load of 15 yo lawn chairs with the arse half blown out.

For the commitment and attendance factors there isn’t a university that mistreats its fan base like LSU. We’ll move any mountain before accommodating every day fans with basic amenities our competition has.
It’s fricking embarrassing and I don’t blame anyone who decides to cancel their tickets. LSU will ride your arse all damn day without even pulling your hair.
