Twice in last 4 minutes the ball went out of bounds on Houston and they got the ball back because of a bad call. They scored both times. Once a 3 and the other I can’t remember. That’s a minimum of a 5 points difference.

They didn’t score on the other one. It was an immediate steal on the inbounds pass, but those were both terrible calls. Houston got lucky, but they were pretty unlucky to have to play Purdue in Indy.

Even with all of those, That push off was worse.

I have no money on the game. I have Houston in my final.

I’m in bed and decided to put the end of the game on my phone. I saw about the final 1:23.

shite was tied or something and then Houston got 3 ridiculous calls and won.

It was weird.

I’d be pissed if it had happened to my team, undoubtedly. However, after the calls, Zach Edie got over the last couple of years, Perdue needs about 40 more screw jobs to call it even.

The push off was really bad. I get the feeling they call it the first 90% of the game but in the last minute in basketball refs swallow their whistles hard.

Ehh, if you’re going to do this, you have to do it all game. And there were some god awful calls both ways the full night.

Off the top of my head, there was an even more egregious out of bounds clearly off Purdue that was called out on Houston. And there was the uncalled clear as day goaltending when the Purdue guy literally knocked the ball off the rim.

Shitty refs suck. But this is sour grapes.

Houston actually got the benefit there because it was a clear foul. The ref only getting the out of bounds wrong is a much better result than calling the foul.

I know a lot can happen, but how does a 1 seed have to play a 4 in the 4’s backyard? I mean Purdue was a 4 so if things play to seed it was going to happen. I’m guessing Duke never had that scenario.

Poor officiating is why I can’t watch college basketball anymore if it involves my team. I’ll check the score periodically and watch a replay if we win, but watching live is too harmful to my health and I’m done doing that to myself.

The stupider refs are, the more they get promoted to championship level competition.

If athletics was anymore backwards, it would be the Demon Party in DC.

The other 35 minutes had nothing to do with the games outcome

I still laugh at Purdue from when they were a #1 Seed with Zach "Soft" Edey and got beat by #16 Fairleigh Dickinson, 63-58.

Painter is extremely overrated and Indiana is such a bland place to live.

Congratulations on knowing how to use the copy and paste button from another thread.

I'm right, and the WWNFLOL'S handling of Bill Vinovich after he sent the SHAMS instead of the Saints to the Super Bowl is undebateable proof of this. The scumbag literally called the following years Super Bowl.

Same excuses for delerict sports officials. That argument is invalid if the striped lemmings action (or inaction) directly determines the outcome of a game.
