I suspect this gives him the legal rights to train Grok on X data without any interference. He can fully integrate those teams now that they are under a single legal entity. It also gives owners of X exposure to Xai financially.

They’re both private companies, I don’t know what legal hurdles he would have either way.
I believe he bought X with his own money. Xai has raised a shite ton of money although he’s still the majority owner and CEO. I suspect this gets X and its debt off his personal books and rolls it up with Xai where he has a shite ton less exposure
