According to John Hendrix, both Mason Taylor and Will Campbell are basically spectators.

Guess nothing left to prove.

Also interesting note.

Former Saints Josh Hill is now working in the Saints scouting department.

Yea it's getting hot down here, Things tend to relax a bit more and stretch out in warmer weather.

NFL scouts are doing the measuring at both events. Sounds like teams go with the better measure when doing their evals

That had to be a terrible way to go. You know those arms and legs came off with relative ease and the armless legless trunk and head were just lying there for a while freaking out. At least till the femoral arteries pumped out which likely was mercifully quick.

But what if the arms came off before the legs, and those horses tied to the legs just ran off next to each other dragging & bouncing your arse along the way

Obligatory: Saints didn't send anyone to scout because Mickey hates LSU

pretty sure by the time you got tied to the horses you were already basically dead.

I think people who were quartered were dragged to the hanging ground, hanged until near death, then castrated, disemboweled, then tied to the horses.

He was also measured at 33 inches at the Shrine bowel, IIRC. There was reporting that the measurements at the Combine were shorter for multiple players.

If you’ve followed my pro-day reporting, you’ll notice there has been a significant difference in arm length measurements at the combine versus pro-day workouts, the Senior Bowl or the Shrine Bowl.

Trapilo, who just did position drills Monday, is another example. His arm length at the Senior Bowl was 33 1/2 inches, while the combine mark was an even 33 inches. The overall feeling is the measurements in Indianapolis were shorter than they should’ve been.

Jalen Milroe's hands grew 5/8ths of an inch between the Senior Bowl and Combine.

It really has me thinking some of the people doing these measurements suck at what they're doing.

quote:

It appears quarterback Jalen Milroe out of Alabama had a growth spurt. At the Senior Bowl, Milroe's hand size measured in at 8 3/4 inches. One month later at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, his hand measured more half an inch bigger, at 9 3/8 inches.

His hands have somehow grown by 5/8ths of an inch in 28 days. That's significant because the consensus for the smallest acceptable hand size for an NFL QB is 9 inches, and Milroe's hands were initially measured as smaller than that. Now, he's got bigger hands than both Miami's Cam Ward and Ohio State's Will Howard.

The likely explanation is that Milroe wasn't spreading his hand properly when it was measured at Mobile, where those types of measurements don't mean as much for prospects also attending the combine in Indianapolis. Or perhaps the measurement at one of the two locations was simply incorrect for another reason.

Josh Williams pro day was low key unreal. Sub 4.5 40 with 41” vertical. He has a chance to be a legit 2nd rb on any team. He may even go undrafted but he’s gonna make a team

It's not slow for most people but 26 of 39 (2/3rds) of WRs at the combine ran a faster 40 time. 13 (1/3) ran a 4.4 or better.

67 players overall ran faster than 4.5 at the combine, 25 were 4.4 or better.

So for a guy trying to increase his possibility of being drafted, It isn't exactly helpful.
