Anyone done it yet?
Thinking about laying it prior to weekend forecasted rain.
May be early but nothing but warm weather in the long-range forecast

I'm about to go pick mine up from Home Depot. Might put it out this weekend. My yard is about 50% greened up now.

I put out some Lesco 30-0-10 over the past two weeks and my yard is already turning a deep green. It was on sale at Lowes and I bought the last three 50lb bags.

It works decent but it clumps like a bitch, even when dry. I won't ever buy it again.

This may have as much to do with where you bought it from than the product itself, and it might have been on sale for a reason.

Just break it up with your hands. Not a big deal IMO.

That's the thing, it wasn't the pieces that clumped together. It was some black particles that did it and it kept blocking the opening of my spreader so nothing would come out. I don't know what it was, some powdery substance though. It's a pain in the damn arse and you're right, I had the same thought that it was on sale for a reason. Never again with that brand.

I always had this problem with the Lesco 33-0-10 from Lowe’s.

I bought the Sunniland product this year. Haven’t put any out yet though.

Put mine down this week. Walmart 30-0-4, a brand called expert Gardner. Seemed to be high quality. My yard is 95% green besides a few spots I leveled with sand. Had put down some leftover milorganite a month ago. Cutting 3x per week right now.

Apply it around 7:00 PM. Should be worry free. Also, we’re getting another cool front.

home depot

Ended up picking up a bag of this. 40-0-5, says it covers 9k SF. $30 for my entire yard isn't bad at all.

Does anybody know of a place I can get urea in the St Francisville area?

Check the feed stores or Tractor Supply.
See if either can order it.

Going to do it for the first time in my life because the problems I have had in the last few years seem to be linked to low N.

If you went with bermuda weed you wouldn't have any problems
