Huh? What?

This is what came up when I typed in why are there delays with the USPS in New Orleans.

quote:

USPS packages in New Orleans may be experiencing delays today, March 25th, due to the increased activity and logistical demands surrounding the professional football championship game.

Next month they’ll blame a cold weather and fluffy frozen precipitation event for the delays.

In May they will blame a celebration event and parade revelry preceding the Lenten season.

We're doing our best buddy. Most of these packages have been here so long the ink is fading out. You try sorting this stuff when half the numbers are gone.

They’re a little behind on going through mail for cash and gift cards. Give them a few months to catch up.

Yeah, lol. Wasn’t that in January?

Crazy how my packages have traveled through the system from Utah, California, Mississippi with no issues, but somehow have been delayed/ in transit for over a week since they have arrived at the USPS in Nola.

Does anyone know a postal service worker that can explain what is going on?

That’s been changed for years. Now it’s “Whether it’s rain or snow or sleet or hail, you ain’t going to get your fricking mail.”

My guess the USPS main office is right next to the Dome…

Even the USPS is scared of Roger Goodell and the NFL's goofy trademark militancy over using the term Super Bowl.
