This contract makes no fricking sense. You can’t possibly tell me that it took this amount of money for him to come to a power 5 conference. Woodward should have told him to get lost at that point

Wade's fault. When you put the program in jeopardy of punishment, you have to overpay the replacement to deal with the fallout.
This doesn't excuse Woodward for picking the wrong replacement. But the replacement was always going to be paid the Wade penalty.

I think the complaint is about McMahon getting a 7 year contract.
It doesn’t make a lot of sense.
