Best golf shot of your life?

I think I just had mine. I made a 25 foot birdie putt to win our annual Ryder cup horse race competition after the match play. 26 guys watching. I can only think of one other one and it was a punch hybrid under some trees that rolled up onto the fringe and allowed an easy 2 putt to break par for first time.

I have a tie.
A. Par 3, 210 yards, 5 iron, one bounce and went in for the Ace.
B. 5 wood second shot on #18 Doral Blue Monster to 8 feet with a strong wind into my face and a hurricane due to hit in 12 hours.

These are great shots. Here are some for me -
University Club #11 - Driver, 8 iron - in the hole for an albatross. It was wild. (Downwind)
The Island #13 - PW for a hole in one.
Have hit some great putts as well. Such a great game.

First double eagle. 8 bets down going to the last hole, other group is waiting by the green to see how much they’re going to collect. I hit a 1-iron from about 235, saw it hit the front of the green, flag was all the way in the back.
Couple seconds later I hear floating back from the green “god damn you *****”
I knew it was in at that point. Finished 8 bets up, great day.

I'm coming to the realization that I don't have many memorable golf shots.
2 holes in 1, but they were wedges. I guess my favorite shot was getting up and down from the shite on the left of #17 at Whistling Straits.

I played a local course a few months ago and got on in regulation on the first two holes but one was a 68' putt and the next was a 72' putt. I opened birdie birdie with 140' of putts made on the first two holes alone. The funny part is the 3rd hole, I stuck my approach shot 5' from the pin and missed the birdie putt.
Another round I was playing, I pulled my tee shot left on a par 3 and ended up nestled next to a tree where I couldn't even punch the ball out or do anything with it. I ended up taking a left handed swat at the ball, it bounced out, across the cart path, across some dead bumpy stuff, and into the hole for a birdie. The guy I was playing with was in disbelief because he had just taken a one stroke lead with an eagle on the previous hole and I pulled that shot and he bogey'd the hole so I won the 9 by one stroke.
All three of these shots are tons of luck admittedly.

I had one of these the other day. Topped the drive 60 yards down the fairway with about the same 270 range to the pin. Strong tail wind and hit a rescue club onto the green, sunk the 15' birdie putt.

This one is easy. It happened last year so it's still fresh in my mind
Evangeline Four Ball at OCC last year, second round. My partner and I were around the middle of the pack but we were close to the top 3 in our flight. Everyone was separated by only a few shots.
We come up to #9 (par 3 over water if you've never played it, extremely difficult hole). My partner goes first, comes up short in the water (his shot is the red line). I come up next, hit a pretty good shot but it's tailing right just a little. Lands on the green on the bottom right side, but bounces right and falls into the water. (yellow line)
Now because my partner didn't land on anything, he has to go to the drop zone. I drive up to the green to ask one of the assistant pros (Jason) what the ruling is for mine. He said I can take a drop across the water on the other side directly in line with where it entered. So he takes me to a spot under the trees where there is some grass, watches me drop it, says its' good and it's in play. He stands behind me to watch me hit.
I hit a beautiful little mid flighted lob wedge, it lands on the right side of the green a little above pin high and starts rolling left (blue line). Jason immediately says "you just made it." I'm watching it roll all the way across the green, it drops perfectly against the flagstick and in the hole. There were about 20 competitors from the championship flight that already played eating/drinking at the turn house watching, and everyone started yelling and cheering. I threw my club down and just yelled "LETS frickING GOOOOOO" as loud as I could
I see my partner standing by the green just laughing at me.
Saved the par and ended up finishing 2nd in our flight. We were staring at a double bogey or worse, easily.
The adrenaline rush was insane. Never felt so hyped up in my life.

I've been within 6 inches of a hole in one, twice on the same hole.
Almost holed an 8 iron at Copper Mill.
Some chip ins and lengthy birdie putts that are memorable.

Last week in front of some college golfers I was playing through. Beamed a low line drive on a par 3 with a hybrid and hit the pin and landed about 2 feet from the hole.
So close to that elusive hole in one. It was fun to see the guys go a little crazy when it hit the pin and almost went in.
ETA: my dad hit an albatross once that literally almost hit me. Family tournament, I was in the group ahead on the green. My cousins and uncles scream for me to get out of the way and I just move and the ball lands exactly where I was standing then bounces into the hole.
My dad had 2 handicap strokes on that hole so he got a 0 on the scorecard

A few that stand out to me, I remember driving into a fairway bunker on # 10 at Goose pond and had about 210 to the green. Hit a 5 wood to about 25 ft and 2 putted for birdie. Another was on their sister course Plantation point I made about a 30 ft putt for a birdie on the 3rd or 4th hole. At the time it was just a great putt. The significance came later as that was the only time i ever broke 80. (Shot a 79). Those were both long ago before the back surgeries but the other day playing with my dad had about 180 into the green on a par 5 and hit my 4 wood to 4 feet...and missed the eagle putt.

Par 4, Hole 15 at Carter Plantation.
Drove the green and made about an 18 foot putt for eagle!

Punch 3-metal uphill, into the wind on a par 4 on the back nine at Royal Dornoch, to about 20 feet. Missed the birdie putt, but hit the shot exactly how I wanted.

Got invited to play in member/guest at CCL last minute, like the morning of. We were moving and most of my stuff was in storage. Go grab clubs and shoes out of storage unit and haul arse to CCL. Tee time was 9:08. I hit the parking lot at 9:00. My group is waiting on 1. I run up, quick intros and pipe one down the left side. Hit a PW that spun off the left hill and trickled down into the hole. Group was like WTF? Next hole I made a 40 footer for birdie. The other group was very unhappy thinking my partner subbed a ringer. Well the wheels fell off and I shot 83 and we finished near the bottom in our flight.

I’m trying to remember that hole. I remember 10 was the par 5 going straight away from the clubhouse. I remember it because my first ever eagle was on that hole. I was playing extra holes after a freshmen 9 hole tourney and hit a 3 wood at dusk that I couldn’t see land. I walked up and the ball was a few inches directly behind the hole. I have no idea how it didn’t go in for a 2…maybe was going too fast and hit the pin and spun to that spot. If it was rolling slow there’s no way it stops there. I had forgotten about that until you mentioned Howell park

On a par 5 I play regularly and can never get par. I was 270 out over water and a tree. Small peninsula green. Had already doubled 1 and bogey on 2 I didn’t care. Hit it to about 3 feet and made the eagle putt. Will always remember that shot. 3wood absolutely flew that day.

#6 @ Stonebridge. Par 5, 185 yards out, smooth 6 iron right to the bottom of the cup.
Been playing since I was 13 (25 years), and pretty good golf for most of that time, and a hole in one has still avoided me. Pisses me off. Numerous withing inches and hit the pin numerous times but never got one to drop.

About 10 years ago at LSU. I’m playing by myself and a pair asks to play 7 with me. It ended up being the southern head football coach and his strength coach.
I told them I’m dog shite at golf so please bear with me. On 7 I drove the water, chipped within 10, the birdied a putt with quite a break. They looked at me like… sand bagger.
So to prove them wrong, I stuck it about 2’ from the pin on the 8th and tapped in. At this point, I’m confused because I truly am bad at golf.
But alas, all good things come to an end. Triple bogeyed 9 and all was right with the world.
But for two holes, I was Tiger fricking Woods.
