Snap = beans, chicken, flour, eggs, and more staples. Not luxury items such as candy, cokes, steaks, lobster, and other items.

I understand the candy and cokes because of the health issue leading to increased medical cost. But if Republicans start to say you can't buy steak and seafood the MSM is gonna run wild with the oligarchy they want you to eat cake narrative. Which would technically be correct and we would get our arse kicked in the midterms so that would be a stupid fricking idea. Some of you people know how to self destruct very easily.

The Trump administration isn’t stopping anyone from buying junk, they’re just telling folks on SNAP that the tax payers aren’t going to buy it for them any longer. See the difference? Probably not

Son, back in my day the only free food you got from the government was cheese. “Government cheese” they called it. Just a huge wheel of mass produced cheese. Everyone in a certain part of town were just constantly constipated like the dickens. Poor souls. Lost a lot of good men out there to stage five fecal impaction.

I never said anything about junk food. I agree with the no junk food buying with food stamps. I said the steak and lobster would be a bad move because then the MSM would frame it as class warfare.

Ok, I understand your point a little better now, but I still disagree. No one should be rewarded by living off the government. That’s the problem with our citizens. They think eating free meals is a right when it should be looked at as a blessing. Anything given to someone should be looked at as a blessing. Beggars should not be choosers.
Edit: I do understand that you’re not necessarily vouching for government paid lobster and steak, but you just think the MSM will use it against the administration and you are correct. But I say the hell with MSM. Trump should do what’s right by the people

Yep. Wal Marts move to sell groceries in the 90s with the “Supercenter” model was because they figured out they could double their profits if they accepted EBT.
