Plant work can be dangerous.

Sounds like he was under a suspended load, metal tote of some kind, and unfortunately has passed. I haven't heard anything specific though

How about you post the article?
IDK how some of you dress yourself or drive to work on your own every morning.

WBRZ already said this:
Dude works at a nitrogen plant, goes unresponsive and dies. Whatever, whatever could have happened? (Hint, a dude was just executed with nitrogen this week.)
quote:
St. Gabriel Police Department said his death was not caused by a medical condition.

My prayers go out to his family and this is probably not the time or place, but I never pass up an opportunity to say "frick the St. Gabriel Police Department".

A tote full of liquid can be 2000-3000 lb.

Im making no judgements about the deceased but youd be surprised how many people will get under a suspended load.
Its a fireable offense just about everywhere.

The St Gabriel police about as corrupt as as can be . They only except cash or money order for cash they told me with a bs ticket I received . I actually called the state police on them and they told me they were under investigation

In the article by Kiran, it says that the tote was on a forklift and slipped off the forks. He could have been next to it and just in an unlucky spot.
quote:
UWK has learned that the incident involved a forklift and a tote. That tote was being moved when it somehow slipped off the forklift triggering the accident. At this time, officials say they do not suspect any foul play, but the investigation is ongoing.
