Stopped at a Cracker Barrel for the first time in a long time.
They've eliminated a bunch of the vegetables that I used to get (Cabbage, Lima Beans).
Ordered a New York Strip & it came out raw on one side and like a charcoal brick on the other side.

No wonder their stock has been crashing for the last few years.
After everyone currently over 65 dies I don't know how they stay in business.

Yeah, apparently cooking a NY Strip was too complicated for Gomer & Goober.

Yes, their stock has been crashing for years because your steak was not properly cooked yesterday

I wanted a steak.
NY Strip was on the menu.
I thought they could handle it.
I was wrong.

Cracker Barrel has crashed.

Their food is mediocre and good service is no longer offered.

The only time I go there is if I am driving on the interstate out in the middle of nowhere and it is way past lunchtime. Or if I have to go to the bathroom and there is no Buc-ee’s around.

Just get fried chicken and eat lots of biscuits like the other fatties.

I stopped there because I was in a hurry & it was far less busy than all of the other restaurants in that area.
Now I know why.

I heard Bobby Hebert and Jerry Glanville tell the story on the radio several times. When Glanville was coaching Hebert at the Falcons, he was quoted as saying that Hebert was tougher than a Waffle House steak. This prompted an angry visit from the Waffle House CEO. Waffle House was based in Atlanta and was a major Falcons sponsor. Glanville told him he should be happy for the free publicity.

Obviously you're not aware of the new corporate policy regarding the cooking of steaks, company wide. This is how all steaks are cooked at every location every single time they are ordered now.
