Larson as struggled through fall and pre conference gonna be hard with who he is competing with for at bats.

The good thing about this roster is that if any one, two, or three hitters get in a slump against good SEC pitching - which will likely happen to some extent, coach has 3 guys on the bench that have proven they can hit.

As it is now you have Frey and Larson on the bench. Each could pinch hit in close games depending on the matchup. Pearson the freshman can pinch hit. 2 catchers can pinch hit. Lots of hitters on the bench you can use in crucial points in the game.

Mayers might be a stretch. He’s still lacking control, but noot took a big step in the right direction tonight. UNO isn’t a great team but they e hit the ball really well this season

I’m also in favor of giving Williams the lefty matchup role over Primeaux or at least giving him the chance
