That’s impressive

He’s good at his job, really good, which makes you wonder why he tried to cut corners at times.

With how many conferences Louisville has been in, I wonder how many conferences he’s won. It might be 7

How about you list the schools for us lazy dumbasses who haven’t followed college basketball in the last 25 years?

Did he start coaching in College before he got his Driver's License?

Grew up watching him at Providence and that seems like 3 lifetimes ago.

He’s the best college coach at just winning at any job I’ve ever seen. The fact he’s done it for as long is as equally impressive.

He's a great coach. He could still be at UK if the Celtics job hadn't opened

He surprisingly never won a conference championship at Providence.

It’s Boston U, Kentucky, Louisville, Iona, St. John’s.

And for Key, he won C-USA and Big East at UofL but they moved to the ACC right at the end of his tenure so he never got an ACC one. His team finished tied for 2nd in his last season at UofL.

when he took them to the Final Four in his 2nd year, two of his assistant coaches were Stu Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy

He’s like Saban. Can build a program up fast and sustain. Pitino had he stayed at Kentucky would have no telling how many National Championships.

He and Knight are the two best I’ve ever seen. Coach K and Calhoun are up there too but Knight and Pitino could beat you with theirs, could beat you with yours and could take some rag tag roster off the street and beat you with them too.
