Zion out tonight vs. Spurs for “personal reasons”

I wish I could call into my job and say I couldn’t work today for “personal reasons.”
Must be nice to get a $400,000+ paycheck per game and take a day off whenever and not play any back-to-backs.
On the plus side, embrace the tank! We need a new franchise player, one who can consistently play over half the games in a season.

You can't? I get sick time and PTO at my job

Dude is a slave apparently. I can have an achy tooth and say I’m not feeling well, no questions asked I don’t have to go in. Sucks to be OP, living a life of oppression.

This never used to happen. Players would never miss games for personal reasons. It'd be different if they are married, and their wife is in critical condition or there is some sort of medical emergency. But childbirth shouldn't necessitate missing a game. Most players are smart enough to coordinate their child's births during the 6-month long offseason.
BTW, the NBA is not a job with sick time or personal time off. They are paid per game. It requires them to show up. Are you a project manager or paid by the task? What would happen if you didn't deliver?

You’re a loser. You just typed that whole essay about why a father should play a meaningless game instead of be with his newborn baby. Take a step back, you sound like a bitch.

You are a beta, with no work ethic and no pride. I guess you support him taking off the next two to three weeks to help take care of the baby as well, right? Professional athletes do not or should not take personal time off during the season. Thats why they get paid so much and have so much time off. This is just common sense..

If it’s a personal reason, then it must’ve been a good one. Pelicans literally suspended him for being late to games. Hes not the first one to do this and not the last. Kawhi Leonard family with the fire and KAT with his gf’s aunt. It’s because it’s Zion, you decide to hate. Also, this season is over, why the fk you care if he doesn’t play or not.

I may have missed up. Is he having a kid? I thought I saw that, but I do not see anyone else confirming this..

You prove this every day. How many alters are you using on the board now? I know of the other 2 you have. I'm sure there could be more. Your language usage is hard to miss, especially how you always call everybody the R word. Are you cycling through them all, keep them each logged on on different tabs? It's impressive..

Lol I have 1 tigerdroppings account. You’d never find another poster with my articulation and passion. You should list those alters you are so sure of though, I’m sure those people would get a good laugh.

Is Moriah Mills blackmailing him again?

NBA just announced investigations of Philly and OKC for sitting players....

Jordan took a whole year and a half off for personal reasons.
But it is insane to me that MJ played all 82 games in 9 of his 15 seasons and played in 81, 80, and 78 in 3 other seasons all while averaging almost 40 minutes a game and playing DPOY level defense.
Stockton played in all 82 games in 16 seasons (and all 50 in strike shortened 99)
The average all-star in the 90s missed 10 games a year.
The average all-star in the 2010s missed 18
The average all-star in the 2020s has missed 24 games so far.
It is pretty wild that these guys are able to just decide not to play back 2 backs.

The fact that it doesn't include both the Raptors and the Jazz is a joke.

He’ll have like 15 more kids, I’m sure some will be born in the offseason.

If Pels were at all in the playoff picture then I think he'd play and then fly out.
