Why are our players allowed to wear pink arm sleeves, batting gloves,etc?

Pink is not an LSU color. LSU players' uniforms and paraphernalia should conform 100% to our school's official, legendary colors 100% of the time.

Doesn’t really bother me honestly. I’m more curious of the reason why most wear pink. Sure there is some kind of meaning behind it like breast cancer awareness.

But, If a player has a loved one with breast cancer and the player wants to wear a pink arm sleeve so that the loved one watching at home will see it and feel loved and supported through a time where shite really sucks and life is bleak, I don’t have a problem with it.
