LOOMISING. We should be able to nab our future QB with that pick.

That's good news. Everything helps. I expect Loomis to use some of this to move around the draft as he always does (you can trade compensatory picks now, you used to not be able to)

If there is one thing I would bet the house on, is that the Saints won't draft 9 guys

Trade 2 late rounders for picks next year.

Repeat next year

Trade any picks for future picks if these dudes can’t make a roster.

Keep 1,2,3,3,4
Trade the rest for another 3

maybe but it also may allow then to approach the last 3 picks a bit different knowing they can take a risk on 1 or 2 now.

I wouldn't be willing to bet that much. There is a possibility they still draft 9 guys, but they will need to use 1-2 picks from 2026 to do it.

Maybe, but they will use some of those middle round picks to move around to get guys they want. They always do

Value wise, if we use pick 112 and not 131, we might BARELY get back into the end of the 3rd, which really isn't worth it unless you are targeting someone specific. Even though it's a slightly better chance at someone decent over pick 112, it isn't worth giving up 3 more shots plus 112 for a slight move up (roughly 20ish spots).

Pick Value Chart These aren't gospel, but they are generally close.

This one gets better:

So, we get a pick for losing Yiadom, and then we get him back in FA.

Trade down 1st round pick

Trade up 6 and 7’s

More picks and more quality picks

I certainly see giving a 6th and 7th with maybe a 2026 7th pic to get into the 5th round.

We should be able to grab a preferred FA. Don't take this pick lightly.

I am not a fan of trading up unless there is a player you really really want, especially in the later rounds

I would just used those 7th round picks on a specialist or a lineman who blew it up in the smaller college divisions. Or trade them the get higher picks in next year draft

This roster needs a massive infusion of cost controlled snaps, and likely an infusion of young blood to absorb the culture from the new head coach. I’d love to see the Saints make every pick and make additional post June 1 cuts to reduce cap.

DraftTek Interactive Trade Value Chart
Classic Jimmy Johnson Valuation Model
NFL teams use trade value charts when planning draft day trades. Enter your team in the box below, and all the picks for your team will be highlighted in green.

Teams are reported to use a revised trade value model in recent years, as discussed by Bill Belichick. Drafttek provides an alternate trade value model, developed by Rich Hill of Pats Pulpit, which we believe more accurately reflect the trades of the past several years:

Rich Hill Trade Value Model

Under the Rich Hill chart, if the Saints used the one 6th and two 7ths along with #131, we could jump all the way up to #115. At a certain point, you might want to just use the picks and hope you get a decent depth/ST player for cheap.
