Talking to the wife tonight about the possible tornadoes this weekend. Got to thinking, who has the least eventful weather in the United States? No tornadoes, or hurricanes, earthquakes are out, blizzards no bueno.

Seattle is pretty nice if you can endure the winter gloom

I'll concur.

-4 seasons
-dry, high desert climate
-Some thunderstorms in the monsoon season but child's play compared to tornadoes and hurricanes
-generally low humidity year round
-probably the only real hazard is flash flooding in low areas in Monsoon season.

Southern California if you catch a good stretch between wildfires and earthquakes.

Somewhere like Monterrey, CA weather-wise. Earthquake risk though.

There’s a direct correlation with bad weather being in the best places to live/visit.

Sure, if you ignore the heat, tornadoes, hail, severe thunderstorms, and annual snow/ice.

I’m sure stuff goes on there and flooding and tornadoes could happen…but for all the crazy weather stuff that happens in Texas it feels like we never hear about San Antonio really getting it.

I don’t think “heat” qualifies, neither do thunderstorms. Maybe tornadoes, but I don’t know how prevalent they are there.
