The OT's dream truck - 1995 GMC Sierra 4x4 with 4500 original miles

No turbocharged motors, no plastic valve covers, not even an automatic transmission. This bullshite-free truck could probably be fixed at home if it ever broke down.
I miss this era of pickup truck. Wish they still made something simple like this.
Bring a Trailer
And it's got an anti-theft feature.

What does “4500 original miles” mean? The original is throwing me off. Does that mean there have been miles recently put on it?

20 years too new. Drop back to a 70s square body, with a 350 or 400ci, the most "electronic" I want is an HEI distributor.

It would be the dream truck if is was a '96-98 with the Vortec engine.
'95 still had the TBI.
Wouldn't hate it by any means, and the manual is sweet, but the extra 45HP puts the Vortec on top.

It means the only miles the truck has driven is 4500. No new engine or anything that may reset the miles.

Vortec engine.
I still regret getting rid of my '04 with the Vortec engine. Damn thing was bulletproof.

Gotcha. Seems like an odd way to word that.

Thanks.

Inflation calculator shows that would be $51,600 in today’s dollars.

96-98’s had more power, but were problematic.
The “spider injection” failed on my 97. I heard it was common.

$28k??
Fat chance
I’ve seen one recently with 70k miles for like $12k so this is a ripoff

You're really bad at pretending to have money.

I know a guy that put a million miles on a truck just like that.

My '95 2 dr Tahoe had the same dash, interior and 4X4 transfer on the floor.. Same color and all...
The main question is, does the in dash drink holder still work?
Man I miss truck...

Nice. Despite the v6 I’d buy and install an LS of some sort.

The best feature on that truck is the A/C vent under the steering wheel that cools your nuts.
