Cleveland had to do this either way. Cant let a guy like that walk for nothing, now that hes locked up they can get 3 top 10 draft picks in a trade for him to use on busts at QB

Thats not how NFL trades work. No one is going to give up 3 top 10 picks for a DE making 40per

This guy is an all-time talent and has produced with the best of them.

But all I think about when I see or hear his name is his aTm SEC stats and nearly killing a guy with his helmet. I don’t think I’ve seen him take more than 20 live snaps in his career.

What a waste of money. 2 players on their team making almost 90 million combined per year

Welcome to years of continued losing and not because of him but the two contracts they have will handcuff team.

At the end of the day, a giant sack of cash will always cure disgruntled players

Not at all. Was never a realistic option IMO. Hendrickson is pretty unlikely too. Guys like Dante Fowler and Deatrich Wise are more realistic options in free agency.

Good for him. Loyalty is a rare thing in sports today.

I also wonder how much the Maxx Crosby deal influenced this move. Garrett probably saw another DE in Maxx get paid the highest non-QB money ever in the NFL and told the Browns 'if you can destroy the deal Maxx just signed, I may sign an extension with y'all'. And here we are.

So That cost Jerry an extra 7M per year once he signs Parsons. Dallas has now become the worst run franchise in the league

Quite hilarious after all the media leaks recently about how he was tired of the culture in Cleveland and was ready to win. Get that bag young fella.
