Love my collie. Shes an incredibly smart dog but they’re high maintenance as hell.
Also I found out the hard way that they having a higher risk of epileptic seizures than most dogs. She’s on two different types of medication but still gets a breakthrough seizure every few months.

Love to watch them work sheep. Incredible animals.

They truly are the Baws of the dog breeds male or female. Growing up our neighbors had one that stayed in their pasture/barn. We’d race that dog on three wheelers up and down the fence line and we always were the first to give up.

They're amazing. My border collie is a lazy freeloader because he has a bum leg but he still does the crouch and intense stare when he meets a strange dog. It intimidates the hell out of other dogs who think he wants to fight.

Had a border Collie growing up, smartest dog I've ever seen. One morning, mom made a bagel and left it on the high kitchen counter. She turned around for 10 seconds and when she looked back the bagel was gone, paper towel and everything. She walked over to the laundry room and the dog was already laying down in the corner
. He passed due to stomach cancer unfortunately

They are very intelligent dogs and natural shepherds. We used to have a collie and he helped me round up a herd of escaped cattle at 1am.

I have an Old English, but there is no way he could do that. He's just a pet.
He will, however, try to herd people, especially young children. And he's never been trained to do it. Just instinct.

Trump should get a border collie just to troll his other bitch, the left.

I had an amazing aussie shepherd that was exactly like this. she would always herd all my little cousins into a corner when we had family gatherings. I miss that dog.

Thank you for posting. I like to watch videos of dogs doing their thing. The “eye” of the border collie is its trademark. And the herding breeds each have their own style of work. The dog doing exercise, love it.

Follow the guy on FB; Sean the Sheepman. He has some amazing videos of what his dogs do.

Ours is a rescue that had a back leg amputated. I think she is bipolar. But very smart. Can't get her to not herd kids.

Yep.
Go get a beer out of our friends fridge, there she is. Good luck getting around the kitchen island.
Additionally, they will play “fetch” until they die or your rotator cuff is dust.
