WEBSTER PARISH, La. (KSLA) - A 58-year-old woman is facing 72 counts of aggravated animal cruelty after Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office (WPSO) after being accused of dumping several dogs on a rural road.

WPSO Sheriff Jason Parker said law enforcement had been tracking people who dumped dogs on Dement Road on Sunday (March 2), and their efforts led to Kimberly Crowley’s mobile home in the 300 block of Stable Drive. Inside Crowley’s home, deputies reportedly found approximately 60 dogs of all ages and sizes in cages throughout the residence.

Some cages reportedly held multiple large dogs in conditions that were described as inhumane. “There was urine and feces everywhere, and some of the animals were in cages without food or water,” Parker said. “And there were people living in this place with all these animals. I don’t think I’ve seen this type of condition before.”

Apparently, Crowley was operating a “puppy mill” from the residence, Parker said. He said evidence was found that she had advertised dogs for sale on social media sites.

After Crowley was confronted with evidence, she asked a deputy if she could just pay a fine and have this all forgotten.

She was taken into custody just after 2 p.m. on Thursday (March 6) and is currently residing in the parish jail. No bond has been set.

DOYLINE, La. -- A second arrest has been made and another Doyline resident is looking at 72 counts of cruelty to animals in connection with an alleged unlicensed puppy mill operation where animals were found crated and penned in deplorable conditions.

Alan Crowley Alan Crowley Webster Parish Sheriff Jason Parker said Alan D. Crowley, 68, now joins his wife, Kimberly Crowley, 58, in parish custody after deputies arrested him just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Alan Crowley is housed at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center. No bond has been set.

Volunteers from LaMa Animal Rescue, assisted by many other area animal rescue groups, along with nearly a dozen Webster Parish deputies and animal control, began removing and documenting the dogs early Friday morning.

All the animals will be taken to a veterinarian for inspection and preparation for potential adoption.

"What we saw today was horrific. But we also saw our friends come together to help. A special thanks to the deputies and their helpers- we could not have done it without these hardworking men. Another shoutout to our Shreveport/Bossier friends for coming out: Ninna's Road to Rescue - Benton, Hand in Paw - Friends of Bossier City Animal Control, Lory Kowaleski, Susan Fant Votaw. (And others I’m sure - sorry if I missed you!)," LaMa Animal Rescue director Michelle Lewis posted today. "Thank you to all LaMa board members, volunteers, and friends of LaMa."

Donations to assist in its efforts can be made by contacting the group’s web page at LaMaAnimalRescue@gmail.com.

That picture is so sad.

Randomly reminds me of that story from last year with the piece of shite who killed the mom in SELA and took the 2 girls and ended up killing one of them in MS, with the yokle sheriff seeing the same setup (without dogs) and swearing it was evidence of a child trafficking ring.

That's pretty close to me and someone mentioned checking the dogs if you lost a purebred dog in the last year or so insinuating they were possibly stealing people's dogs out of their yards around Shreveport for breeding stock.

I say kill people that abuse animals. If they do that to an animal, they will do it to people.

It's disgusting, not only to do that to dogs, but you live in there too.

You can try contacting LaMa and see what information they might have on the dog.

I’m assuming they just meant ‘potential adoption’ because some of the animals might need to be mercifully euthanized if they can’t be saved from injuries or disease.

Anyone else initially read the thread title as "dog humping"?

People like this are pitiful.

All they think is "get dog pregnant. Sell puppies when they are 6 weeks old". And they don't account for everything else involved. They don't account for the fact they might not sell every dog. That they have to care for the puppies. People like this makes me think there are certain people who need to live under a dictatorship. They are too fricking stupid to be out in the world making decisions for themselves.

I feel terrible for the animals for sure, but my first thought was this.

Thinking of all the filth makes my skin crawl.

Because that's probably what they grew up in. A shite hole. Its a mentality that they don't get rid of. Poverty is a mindset that grows with not being educated. They never grew up with standards so they don't have any. There is nothing worse than white trash.

I have a 0 tolerance policy for people who harm children, the elderly, and animals.

Put them in the dirt.
