I've seen that video dozens of times over the years and that look on Chuck Berry's face is priceless. Lennon is oblivious to how untalented that shrieking idiot of a wife of his truly is and doesn't even bat an eye when she starts that crap.
And as far as people who should not sing-----just go to any bar on "Karaoke Night" and get an earful of pain.

When asked about the fateful night, Berry could only utter that Chapman got the wrong one.

Perhaps a nose job might help

My grandmother could sing well when she was young. As she got older she lost the ability to stay on pitch but she still sang in church and around the house. I wish I could hear her off key voice again.

That's true. Not everyone can sing well.

Ah.... good ole James Canupp. He's been in several competitions against Brian Free and wore him out, you know.

I love to sing. I just can't. It doesn't stop me though.

Oddly enough, Yoko would sell out concerts today with that banshee like wailing and shrieking. It would be perceived as high art and leading edge.
Wonder if this is what she sounded like when her and John did the do.

There's a longer version of that, it was on the Mike Douglass show. They do a 2nd song, and the sound guy cut Yoko's mike. She seems all confused, playing with the mike to make sure it's on, but that sound guy saved the day for that 2nd tune.
