This is what happens when you interrupt Barney Fife's Nap Time.

Imagine the shite that cops got away with before cell phones.
This dude would have probably ended up in prison.
Caught sleeping on the job and his response is "Put your hands behind your back".
EDIT:
The Cop should be charged with Assault and/or Battery.
He put hands on a citizen that had not committed a crime.
Had the citizen put hands on the Cop the citizen would have been charged with battery on a Cop, which is a felony.
But look at all of the Boot Licking Mouth Breathers downvoting the post
Back the Blue !

I worked the radio for a city PD decades ago. The chief would sit out in his squad car like he was running radar but he was really sleeping. I was 19 and dgaf so I would pull up next to him and honk my horn. Scared his arse awake every time.

Do you know their rules and policies? Don't some doctors and nurses catch a nap in empty rooms during long shifts sometimes?
I'm not arguing either way, although the cop clearly handled that poorly and should be reprimanded. But you have no idea if what he was doing was bad or wrong, yet you're jumping to all sorts of "bootlicker!!!!11" conclusions.

How does he know the cop hadn’t just finished his shift and he was just stupid tired and didn’t want to drive?
